Sales App - Pricing Engine

The iOS Sales mobile app now includes the Pricing Engine feature, enabling sales personnel to calculate and update quotes on their mobile devices.

Overview

The Sales mobile app now supports the new Pricing Engine feature, allowing sales personnel to calculate and update quotes directly on their mobile devices. The new functionality ensures that the mobile app provides a consistent experience with the web app, making it easier to manage pricing and quotes from anywhere.

Key Features

  1. Pricing Engine Integration:

    1. The Sales app now integrates with the new Pricing Engine, ensuring that all quotes and pricing calculations are aligned with those in the web app's Sales → Quote → Prices panel.

    2. If the Pricing Engine is enabled for your operator or aircraft, the app will automatically reflect this in the mobile interface.

  2. Notification Banner:

    1. When the Pricing Engine is active, a notification banner will appear at the top of the pricing box in the mobile app, indicating that the quote has been calculated using the Pricing Engine.

    2. The banner will display:

      1. The Pricing Engine icon.

      2. Information on the pricing rules applied.

    3. Note: The 'More details' button from the web app is not available on the mobile app.

  3. Consistent Pricing Information:

    1. The mobile app’s Pricing Panel will display the same fields and pricing items as seen on the web app, ensuring a unified experience.

    2. All calculations derived from the Pricing Engine will be synchronized between the mobile app and the web app.

  4. Custom Charges:

    1. Users can add new custom charges within the mobile app, which will sync seamlessly with the web app.

    2. The “Custom” button has been updated to "Charge" to align with the web app, reducing confusion.

    3. The term "Custom Prices" is now "Custom Charges" in the list that appears after pressing the "Charge" button.

  5. Data Synchronization:

    1. All updates made in the mobile app, including new charges and modifications to quotes, will automatically sync with the web app, ensuring consistency across both platforms.

 

How to Use the New Pricing Engine Support:

  1. Check for Feature Activation:

    1. Ensure that the Pricing Engine feature is enabled for your operator or aircraft.

    2. The notification banner at the top of the pricing box will confirm when the Pricing Engine is active.

  2. Viewing and Updating Quotes:

    1. Access the quote in the Sales app.

    2. Navigate to the Prices Panel to view all pricing items and details.

    3. Make any necessary updates to the pricing, and these will sync with the web app automatically.

  3. Adding Custom Charges:

    1. Tap on the "Charge" button to add new custom charges.

    2. These charges will appear in the pricing panel and sync with the web app.

 

Prerequisites

    1. The Pricing Engine must be enabled for your operator or aircraft to use this feature.

    2. Users must have the latest version of the Sales mobile app installed.

 

Availability

This feature is accessible to all FL3XX users utilizing the iOS Sales application, with plans for availability on Android devices set for 2025.

 

Activation Process

No activation is required from the user. The feature will be automatically enabled if it is configured for your operator or aircraft.
