Local Time (LT) Toggle in Dispatch Module

To enhance flexibility in time display preferences, we've introduced a "Local Time (LT)" toggle in the Dispatch module.  This allows users to seamlessly switch between UTC and Local Time (LT) views across various Dispatch panels. 

 

 Location of the Toggle

The Local Time (LT) toggle is available directly in the Dispatch module interface.

  • Allows switching between UTC and Local Time (LT) modes.

  • Overrides the existing "Show Dispatch Times (arr/dep) In Local" setting when enabled.

Toggle Behavior

Toggle State Behavior
LT Enabled All supported Dispatch panels will show times in Local Time. The toggle overrides the existing configuration setting.
LT Disabled Default behavior remains – times are displayed in UTC, unless the operator has LT display enabled by default.

Panel-by-Panel Time Display Behavior

The following areas of the Dispatch module now support the LT display toggle:

Flight Strip (Departure/Arrival)

  • Displayed: Local Time at respective airport.

  • Hover Tooltip:

    • Local Time (LT)

    • Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)

    • Home Base (HB) Time

Flight#/Booking Panel

  • Itinerary times display in Local Time, matching the Sales module display.

Tail / CAMO Panel

  • No changes – times continue to display as per existing logic.

From/To Panel

  • Airport opening hours are displayed in Local Time for both departure and arrival airports.

Crew Panel (Estimated Duty Time)

  • Check-in Time: Local Time at departure airport

  • Check-out Time: Local Time at arrival airport

  • Next Start Time: Local Time at arrival airport

Slot/PPR Panel

  • Slot/PPR approval times display in Local Time at both departure and arrival airports.

Permits Panel

  • Takeoff Permit Validity: Local Time at departure airport

  • Landing Permit Validity: Local Time at arrival airport

  • Overflight Permit Validity: Remains in UTC (as local time reference is not feasible)

Fuel Panel

  • Fuel delivery times display in Local Time at both departure and arrival airports.

MVT Panel

  • Display: Local Time at both departure and arrival airports

  • MVT Emails: Still sent in UTC to ensure correct external processing.

PostFlight Panel

  • Off-block / Takeoff: Local Time at departure airport

  • Landing / Unblock: Local Time at arrival airport

  • Check-in / Check-out: Local Time at respective airports

  • Deicing Times (Start, HOT Start, HOT End): Local Time at departure airport

Compatibility with Existing Settings

For operators already using the "Show Dispatch Times (arr/dep) In Local" option under General > Configuration > Dispatch:

  • No disruption will occur.

  • The new LT toggle respects this setting by applying Local Time by default for users under an operator with "LT Dispatch" switched on.
