Creating a General Aviation Report (GAR) for Ireland
This knowledge base article outlines the process and requirements for creating a General Aviation Report (GAR) for flights arriving in Ireland. The system will automatically generate and attach this report to relevant flight documents.
Trigger and Attachment
- The system automatically detects flights arriving in Ireland.
- A blank Irish GAR form is attached to the email dialogue.
- The attachment is named "GAR (Inbound)".
Form Distribution
The GAR form is distributed to the following FL3XX sections:
- Briefing
- Handler
- Customs
- Recap/All Flight Documents (labelled as "Ireland GAR")
- Send sections
Form Completion
The system automatically fills in most fields of the GAR form. The following fields are left blank for manual completion:
- Reason for visiting the EU
- Crew phone contact
