Creating a General Aviation Report (GAR) for Ireland

This knowledge base article outlines the process and requirements for creating a General Aviation Report (GAR) for flights arriving in Ireland. The system will automatically generate and attach this report to relevant flight documents.

Trigger and Attachment

  1. The system automatically detects flights arriving in Ireland.
  2. A blank Irish GAR form is attached to the email dialogue.
  3. The attachment is named "GAR (Inbound)".

Form Distribution

The GAR form is distributed to the following FL3XX sections:

  1. Briefing
  2. Handler
  3. Customs
  4. Recap/All Flight Documents (labelled as "Ireland GAR")
  5. Send sections

Form Completion

The system automatically fills in most fields of the GAR form. The following fields are left blank for manual completion:

  • Reason for visiting the EU
  • Crew phone contact
