The Airport panel gives additional details for airports, airport Opening Hours, Alternate Airport information and provides a section for operational notes.
Airport Info
- Weather: Hover over the weather cloud
to download the latest METAR and TAF information. - Longest Runway length
- Elevation
- Runway Width
- Fire Category and if upgrade is approved
- Aerodrome Category
- Additional Notes
In the Flight Strip, the ICAO codes for departure and arrival airports are displayed. If the runway length is too short, or the airport category or the Fire Fighting Category is not sufficient, they will be highlighted in red in the Airport Panel, in the flight strip, and an alert will be shown.
Opening Hours
The opening hours are retrieved from the airport page for the specific day and are displayed across the time span required for the flight.
Sunrise & Sunset
Sunrise and sunset timings are displayed for the specific date of the flight.

- Fire Category
- Aerodrome Category
- Additional Notes
Operational Notes
The operational notes section displays all notes that must be reviewed before the flight.
Adding New Operational Notes
You can also add new operational notes in this section by clicking the "+ Add Operational Note" button.
Simply enter the start and end date of your operational note. If the date of the operational note has passed, the note will be automatically archived. 
Once you have chosen the dates, you can enter your operational note and click "Save Note".
Your new operational note will be shown in the Operational Notes section, along with the acknowledge button which must be set to "OK" each time this airport is used.
